Second Encounter
Second Encounter
For years, I was lost—trapped in addiction, searching for meaning in places that only left me more broken. My choices finally caught up with me, and I was arrested and thrown into prison.
Even behind bars, my soul was restless. I worshiped many gods in my heart, looking for peace in different beliefs, but I never turned to Jesus. I spent my time meditating and reading spiritual books, still searching for something greater.
Then, one morning, something unexpected happened.
As I was meditating and reading a spiritual book, something intercepted my thoughts. Suddenly, I heard a tiny voice call me: "My son."
I was stunned. I had never experienced anything like it before.
At first, I ignored the voice. But then, it spoke again—this time with authority, power, and overwhelming love. As the voice spoke, I sensed something incredible—a cloud of love covering me. I became completely aware of this love surrounding me, unlike anything I had ever known.
Then, the voice spoke three words that changed my life forever:
1️⃣ "I am the Lord your God, who died for you on the cross."
2️⃣ "Believe Me, for I am Spirit and Truth. Accept Me, and I will show you who I am."
3️⃣ "I am your Father and Mother before you and in Me."
In that moment, I knew: this was Jesus.
For so long, I had searched everywhere but never found the truth. But here, in the depths of my prison cell, when I least expected it, He found me. He called me. And His love covered me.
From that day on, my life was never the same. Jesus didn’t just set me free from prison—He set me free from addiction, pain, and hopelessness.
If you are searching, lost, or feeling unworthy, know this: No one is too far gone for God's love. No past is too broken for His grace. If He could reach me in my lowest moment, He can reach you too.
I share my story to tell you one thing—Jesus is real. His love is real. And He is calling you too.
You are not forgotten. You are loved. And your story is not over.
